POMONA, Calif.-- Stan State captured its second consecutive conference series this afternoon by defeating Cal Poly Pomona 6-1 this afternoon at Scolinos Field in Pomona, Calif. The Warriors added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh to take a 6-1 lead. Baker had a lead-off infield single, went to second when Leonesio reached on a fielder's choice. They each advanced a base on a sacrifice bunt by Valdivia. On the second pitch he saw and with one out,
Alex Solis drove him Baker and Leonesio with a single up the middle to increase the Warriors' lead to 6-1.
