Tanner Gerhart has earned this week's California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors. Gerhart led the way at the SF State invitational in San Francisco, California, for the men's 8k.

The freshman from Copperopolis, California was the first across the finish line in the men's 8k in San Francisco at the SF State Invitational. His time of 25:05.1 assisted the Warriors in taking first place at the invitational. Gerhart's completion time in San Francisco was almost 40 seconds faster than his only other race this year at the Kim Duyst Twilight Invitational.
Tanner Gerhart's CCAA honors mark the first Runner of the Week win for Stan State in over two years.
Stan State's next outing will be at the CCAA Championships on Friday, October 25
th, in Fresno, California, at Woodward Park. Both the men's and women's teams will be participating, with the men's 8k starting at 9:00 a.m. and the women's 6k beginning at 10:00 a.m.
