ROHNERT PARK, Calif.---  Stan State recorded its fifth shutout of the season in the Warriors' 1-0 conference road win over the Sonoma State Seawolves this afternoon in Rohnert Park, Calif.  This was their fifth shutout of the season.  Kenneth Solares scored the game-winner with fifteen minutes left on the clock on an assist from Jacob Ramirez

FIRST HALF:  Edgar Castaneda had two chances in the first seventeen minutes of today's match to give the visitors the lead, but one hit the woodwork and the second went over the goal.  Four minutes later, the Seawolves' Jack Chapman stopped Adrian Yepez's shot on goal attempt to give Stan State the 1-0 lead.  The Warriors had another chance go over the goal in the 27th minute, this time off the foot of Leonardo Muniz.  Sonoma State (3-5-5, 1-4-2 CCAA) had two chances late in the half for the lead including one by Michael Grapy that was stopped by the Warriors' Angel Ruiz-Hernandez.

SECOND HALF:  The guests had a chance again at the lead, but Jack Chapman stopped Adrian Yepez's shot on goal attempt six minutes into the new half.  In the 60th minute, Chapman made another stop this time off the foot of Kenneth Solares.  Twelve minutes later, Stan State's Angel Ruiz-Hernandez kept the match scoreless when he snagged Tiernan Nicewander's shot on goal attempt.  Stan State (5-4-4, 1-2-3 CCAA) took the 1-0 lead, when Solares connected on Jacob Ramirez' cross in the 76th minute.  The Warriors looked like they were going to double their lead, but Ramirez's shot attempt was stopped by Chapman.  Sonoma State had a chance to tie the match with just two minutes left, but the Seawolves were called for offsides.
