TURLOCK, Calif.---Â Stanislaus State women's volleyball (13-5, 6-4 CCAA) will be at home for two games this week. On Friday, October 25
th, the Warriors will face #5 Cal Poly Pomona (16-1, 10-0 CCAA) for the Dig Pink Match at 5:00 p.m. at the Fitzpatrick Arena. The next day, Saturday, October 26
th, California State San Marcos (4-13, 2-8 CCAA) will visit for our Alumni Match with a 2:00 p.m. start time.

LAST WEEK:Â The Warriors spent the week with Chico State, first here in Turlock and then in Chico. Stan State swept the Wildcats 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-23) at home on October 15
th to the cheers of the visiting Walter Brown Elementary and Turlock Christian volleyball team for Education Day. On Chico's home court, Stan State lost in five sets 3-2 (15-25, 25-27, 25-22, 25-23, 10-15).
Isabella Saucedo led the team in kills for the week with 21.
Makenna Carrillo had another great week, following Saucedo with 18 kills of her own.
Haley Burdo aided the offense with 38 assists and
Shaelyn Pruiett recorded another 30 assists.
Ellison Weaver and
Isabella Saucedo both recorded four service aces a piece.
Autumn Kirby had six blocks over the week, with
Malia Tanksley and
Emily Meyer both recording four blocks for the second-highest on the team.
Gabby Rawson put up strong defense with 40 digs over the week.

STAN STATE IN REVIEW:Â Stan State split the last two games to now have a 13-5 overall record and are 6-4 in CCAA matches.
Isabella Saucedo is still the team leader in kills with 163, while
Ellison Weaver is second with 106.
Haley Burdo has assisted in 327 kills this season, with
Shaelyn Pruiett following at 255.
Autumn Kirby leads in two categories: service aces with 25, and blocks with 69.
Gabby Rawson leads in digs at 268, while our two setters follow;
Haley Burdo has 138 while
Shaelyn Pruiett has recorded 128.
RANKED CCAA/NCAA:Â The Warriors are still performing well in the conference with three players in the top three in statistical categories. All categories highlight Stan State's defense.
Autumn Kirby and
Alex Byrd are one and two for total blocks. Kirby has 67 and Byrd has recorded 59. They are also first and second in the same order for blocks per set with
Autumn Kirby at 1.20 blocks per set and
Alex Byrd with 1.11.
Gabby Rawson is second in the conference for total digs with 241. Rawson is ranked third in digs per set with 3.89.
Autumn Kirby and
Gabby Rawson have also cracked the conference top ten in service aces, both players with 198 on the season.
Autumn Kirby is ninth in aces per set with 0.41.
MOVIN' ON UP:Â Our Warriors are still moving up in the all-time career lists, as well as making some new highs for their own career records.
Haley Burdo is now the all-time career leader in assists with 2,014. Burdo is also six service aces away from becoming the fourth all-time career leader.
Gabby Rawson is closing in on third all-time in digs, needing 45 more.
Alex Byrd is second in all-time total blocks at 299, needing 24 more to become the Stan State leader. Three Warriors achieved personal bests in the game at Chico State.
Shaelyn Pruiett recorded a personal career high in assists with 24.
Isabella Saucedo reached a career high in aces with four and digs with 14.
Emily Meyer had a career best in total blocks with four and kills with 12.

BRONCOS IN REVIEW:Â Cal Poly Pomona, ranked 5
th by the ACVA, has only lost one match this season versus RV Central Washington, making them 16-1 with a 10-0 CCAA conference record. Their match against Central Washington was also the only time the Broncos have gone to five sets. Cal Poly Pomona, on average, have a .267 hitting percentage – their best was .459 in their most recent match on October 19 facing Cal State San Marcos, and their lowest was in their loss to Central Washington on September 12 with a .207 hitting percentage. Sarah Ybarra leads the team in kills with 241, boasting a .276 hitting percentage herself. Samantha Campion is a key component for the Broncos team on both offense and defense as she is in the top five in all five main statistical categories. She leads in digs with 207 and services aces with 25. She is second in kills for the team with 185 and fourth for the team in blocks, having recorded 31 thus far. Catie Muller ensures the Broncos retain their high hitting percentage with 630 assists this season.
ALL-TIME SERIES:Â Cal Poly Pomona leads the all-time series with Stan State 23-6. The last match took place at the Fitzpatrick Arena and was a victory for the Broncos, claiming the match 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 23-25).
Alex Byrd and
Mariah Iosua were Stan State's kill leaders at seven apiece. Elllison Weaver also made her presence known with five kills, two service aces, and 12 digs. Â
COUGARS IN REVIEW: California State San Marcos (4-13, 2-8 CCAA) will be in the midst of a three-game road trip when they visit Stan State. Turlock will be their last stop after playing Cal Poly Pomona (October 19, lost 3-0) and Chico State (October 25) before heading home to play Cal Poly Humboldt. The Cougars offense is enabled by Gracie Zaitz, with her team-leading 455 assists. Addison Kranz leads the team in kills with 206, followed by Jessica Thomas with 143. Jackie Phillips is one to watch out for on defense with 250 digs. Isabelle Bakken protects the net and had 43 blocks this season to lead the team.
ALL-TIME SERIES:Â Stan State has faced Cal State San Marcos thirteen times over the last eight years. The Warriors have claimed four of those matches, the most recent being on October 22, 2022 in San Marcos. The last game Stan State played the Cougars was at the Fitz on October 27, 2023. Cal State San Marcos swept Stan State in three sets (18-25, 22-25, 21-25).
