FIRST HALF:  Cal Poly Pomona (12-1-2, 5-1-2 CCAA) had four chances in the first ten minutes of the match to take the 1-0 lead including the last two by Vanessa Cruz that all went wide of the goal.  Fifteen minutes into the match, the Broncos were called for a foul in the box and Aliah Avila connected on her team leading sixth goal of the season on the penalty kick to give the hosts the 1-0 lead.  Five minutes after the Warriors' penalty kick, Cal Poly Pomona had a chance to tie the match at 1-1 when Tylin Norman stopped Cruz's shot on goal attempt.  Stan State (7-5-2, 4-3 CCAA) had a chance to double its lead when Sabrina Cabrera's shot went over the goal as the match went into the half with the hosts leading 1-0.

SECOND HALF:  The Broncos had three chances in the 60th minute to tie the match including two shot on goal attempts by Kiarra D'Arcangelo that were stopped by the Warriors' Natalia Ochoa.  In the 64th minute, Kayla Perez saw her attempt to double the Warriors' lead be snagged by the Broncos' Bella Hara.  Stan State doubled its lead in the 74th minute when Katie Smith connected on her second goal off an assist from Kellyann Rodriguez.
