TURLOCK, Calif.--- After starting the CCAA season at home against Cal State Dominguez Hills and then No. 2 Cal State Los Angeles, Stan State will be on the road for a pair of matches this weekend. The Warriors will be in Seaside, Calif., this Friday, October 11 for a 4:30 p.m. starting match with Cal State Monterey Bay. They will finish their road trip in San Francisco for a 11:30 a.m. starting match with San Francisco State this Sunday, October 13
ONE POINT: The Warriors earned a point to start the CCAA season. Stan State played to a scoreless tie with Cal State Dominguez Hills past Friday with
Angel Ruiz-Hernandez recording seven saves in goal for the hosts. This past Sunday, the Warriors battled with No. 2 Cal State Los Angeles falling 2-1 to the Golden Eagles.
Sammy Villanueva scored the Warriors' goal on a cross from
Edgar Castaneda. Ruiz-Hernandez had five saves in goal for Stan State.

Alecxander Cuellar are tied for the team lead in scoring each with seven points followed by the duo of
Jacob Ramirez and
Marco Carbajal are tied for third each with five points. Castaneda leads the team with his five assists. There is a five-way tie for the team lead in goals scored between Cuellar, Ramirez, Carbajal,
Elio Corral,
Sammy Villanueva, and
Adrian Yepez. Cuellar leads the team with his two game-winning goals. Ramirez and Yepez have score the Warriors' other two game-winning goals.
Angel Ruiz-Hernandez has posted a 1.22 goals against average with 34 saves, a .756 saves percentage, and three shutouts.
RANKED CCAA/NCAA: Three Warriors are in the top ten in the CCAA in six individual statistical categories.

Alecxander Cuellar is tied for third in game-winning goals (two) and tied for fifth with his three assists.

OTTERS IN REVIEW: Cal State Monterey Bay enters this Friday's match with the Warriors with a 3-2-3 overall record and a 0-1-1 CCAA record. The Otters went 0-1-1 in their two conference matches on the road. They tied 1-1 at Cal State San Bernardino and lost 2-0 at No. 7 Cal Poly Pomona. Ronaldo Guadarrama leads the Otters with his six points and two assists. He is tied with Hugo Vargas-Rios, Mason Ward, and Alexis Sanchez each with two goals scored. Eric Vazquez-Acosta, Daniel Perez, and Cameron Belandres each have recorded a game-winning goal for CSUMB this season. Sean Mattivi and Jerry Godfryd have shared time in goal for the Otters this season each playing in four matches. Godfryd has a 1.25 goals against average with 11 saves, one shutout, and a .688 saves percentage. Mattivi has a 1.50 goals against average with 13 saves, one shutout, and a .684 saves percentage.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Stan State leads the all-time series with Cal State Monterey Bay 17-10-6 since 1997. The Otters have won the last two matches between the two teams including 3-1 in Turlock in 2023. The last Stan State victory over CSUMB was 3-1 in 2021 in Turlock.
GATORS IN REVIEW: San Francisco State enters its Friday match with No. 13 Chico State with a 0-5-3 record including 0-1-1 in the CCAA. The Gators played to a 1-1 draw at No. 7 Cal Poly Pomona this Friday and lost 5-2 at Cal State San Bernardino on Sunday. Isaac Sandoval leads SF State with his five goals and ten points. Seven of his ten shot attempts have been on goal this season. Seven different players have recorded an assist this season for the Gators. Mario De La Torre has seen most of the time in goal for the Gators. He has a 2.44 goals against average in six matches with 21 saves and a .656 saves percentage. Hayden Frost has played in four matches while posting a 2.67 goals against average with nine saves and a .529 saves percentage.
ALL-TIME SERIES: San Francisco State leads the all-time series with the Warriors 9-7-4 since 2007. Stan State defeated the Gators 5-2 in Turlock last season.
