ELLENSBURG, Wash.--- Stan State played their second game at the GNAC/CCAA Crossover hosted by Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. The Warriors faced Northwest Nazarene University, falling short 53-88.

FIRST QUARTER: Northwest Nazarene got off to a strong start, with Stan State responding well and keeping the score close. The Warriors ended the first quarter with a layup by
Alyssa Premo with an assist from
Quinn Garrett.

SECOND QUARTER: Stan State held Northwest Nazarene from scoring for the first three minutes of the quarter, with steals from
Quinn Garrett and
Daja Scott-Mitchell.

THIRD QUARTER: The Warriors struggled in the third quarter, though
Da'Myiah Lewis managed to shoot 83.3% from the field, making seven of Stan State's 12 points this quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER: Stan State finished well, shooting 53.8% for field-goal attempts.
Alyssa Premo was three-for-three, leading the team for the period with six points.

VARIETY SCORING: Talia Maxwell,
Da'Myiah Lewis, and
Alyssa Premo all scored 12 points for the Warriors today. Maxwell and Premo shot 54.5% from the field, with Maxwell and Premo scoring all Stan State's points in the first quarter.
