Dismukes Captures All-CCAA Honors; Six Warriors Advance to Tomorrow’s Finals

TURLOCK, CALIF. ---  After Day Two of the 2024 CCAA Track and Field Championships, Stan State's women and men sit in third place heading into the final day tomorrow, May 4.  Reyna Dismukes earned All-CCAA honors by placing second in the long jump.  Six Warriors are advancing to the finals in their respective joining the three from Thursday.

Dismukes had a jump of 19-1.25 (5.82m) to place second in the women's long jump. 

Six Warriors are advancing to the finals of the respective events joining the three from Thursday.  Annie Wild is heading to the finals in the 1500-meters.  She is also running in the 800-meters' finals on Saturday.  Also advancing in the women's 1500-meters are Najwa Chouati and Yahaira Zuninga.  The trio of Jacob Diaz, Dominic Robles, and Brody Vecchione advanced to the finals in the men's 1500-meters. 

With his time of 9:30.16 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Nate Olsen is sixth all-time on the top ten list at Stan State. 

The final day of the 2024 CCAA Track and Field Championships will begin at 11:30am with the men's triple jump.  The first running event will be the women's 4x100 relay at 1:05pm.  The final event of the championships will be the men's 4x400 relay at 5pm.
