TURLOCK, Calif.--- Over 100 Stan State Warrior Student-Athletes were named to the Department of Athletics' Honor Roll for earning a 3.25 or higher-grade point average during the Spring 2024 semester. Seventeen earned a 4.00 grade point average this Spring. Sixty-five student-athletes earned a 3.50 or higher-grade point average. The grade point average for the department was 3.233.
Of these Warriors who were received at least a 3.25 grade point or higher this semester: one was named to the 2023-24 Academic All-America® Softball Team (
Mikaela Ferreira) and one was a NCAA Division II All-American in Track & Field (
Najwa Chouati), twenty-six were named to their respective Academic All-District® Teams, five earned All-Region honors, thirteen earned All-CCAA honors.
Six were recipients of awards at The STANYS in
Chris Chomyn (Male Athlete of the Year),
Mikaela Ferreira (Female Athlete of the Year, Female Scholar Athlete of the Year),
Jeremiah Jones (CCAA Hal Charnofsky Award),
Trent Lauderdale (Male Scholar Athlete of the Year),
Taylor Pilot (CCAA Hal Charnofsky Award), and
Dominic Robles (Will Keener Sportsmanship Award).
