HAYWARD, Calif.--- The Warriors traveled to Cal State East Bay this evening, falling 64-37. Stan State was lead in scoring by
Daja Scott-Mitchell with 15 points, making both of her free throws and shooting 6-for-11 in field goals.
FIRST QUARTER: Cal State East Bay (7-7, 5-3 CCAA) matched the Warriors' early layups with jumpers of their own. The lead was traded several times, the Pioneers up by one even halfway through the period. It was not until the last two minutes of the first quarter that Cal State East Bay found their opening, finishing the quarter with a six-point run to take the lead 15-8.

SECOND QUARTER: Daja Scott Mitchell almost immediately made a three-point shot to begin the second quarter. Stan State (4-10, 3-5 CCAA) held the Pioneers back and matched the shots they did make with points of their own. The Warriors kept Cal State East Bay from extending their lead, the Pioneers still leading at the end of the quarter 29-22.
THIRD QUARTER: The first two minutes of the quarter consisted of the Warriors keeping the Pioneers to threes, which were subsequently missed, and Stan State snagging rebounds to hold a strong defense. Cal State East Bay found their spots though, no longer missing as many threes, and ended the third quarter ahead 46-28.

FOURTH QUARTER: Once again, the score went back-and-forth, each time making baskets shortly after the other. The Pioneers found their stride though, going on a 12-point run to secure the win 64-37.

LEADING THE WAY: Daja Scott-Mitchell led the team in scoring for the third-straight game, scoring 15 or more in each. Tonight she tied
Da'Myiah Lewis for the most rebounds with eight, contributing two steals and an assist as well.

th versus Cal State San Bernardino with a 5:30 p.m. start time. Their next stop is the Kellogg Arena, facing Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday, January 18
