rd, the Warriors host Sonoma State at 5:30 p.m. at the Fitzpatrick Arena. Cal State San Marcos arrives on Saturday, January 25
th for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off.

LAST WEEK: Stan State visited Cal State San Bernardino and Cal Poly Pomona last week, with both opponents having the upper hand. Despite falling to Cal State San Bernardino 66-47, Daja Scott Mitchell led the Warriors versus the Coyotes, earning a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds. The team held Cal State San Bernardino to shooting just 35.7% in the fourth quarter.

Cal Poly Pomona, ranked 16
th in the most recent Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll (WBCA), proved why they are dominant, besting Stan State 78-41.
Da'Myiah Lewis put up a strong performance, recording a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Lewis also added three steals and an assist to aid the team.

WARRIORS IN REVIEW: Stan State is currently 4-12 overall and 3-7 in CCAA play. The Warriors are currently giving up 70.9 points while scoring 57.4 of their own.
Da'Myiah Lewis is the leader in points, averaging 15.5 points per game. Lewis also leads in rebounds (5.9 per game) and steals (1.7 per game).
Talia Maxwell continues to lead in blocks with 2.3 per game, followed by

Lewis ranks fifth in rebounds per game (eight), fourth in total rebounds (120), third in points per game (15.5), second in defensive rebounds per game (5.9), and first in free throws (64). Scott-Mitchell ranks fifth in the conference in offensive rebounds per game with 3.4 and fourth in rebounds per game with 8.1.

DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Da'Myiah Lewis and
Daja Scott-Mitchell continue to perform well, each recording a double-double last week. Scott-Mitchell scored 19 points and snagged 16 rebounds versus Cal State San Bernardino for her third double-double of the season. Lewis added 10 rebounds to her 20 points at Cal Poly Pomona for her fifth double-double this season.

CONFERENCE LEADER: Da'Myiah Lewis leads the conference in free throws, currently making 73.6% of them. With Lewis's 23 points over the two games last week, nine of those points came from free throws.

SEAWOLVES IN REVIEW: Sonoma State (7-8, 5-4 CCAA) are right on their opponents' heels in scoring, averaging 57.1 points per game while giving up 60. However, the Seawolves are currently outpacing their opponents in steals (9.7 per game) and blocks (2.8 per game). Jayme Blackard is the team leader in points at 11.3 per game and steals with 2.1 per game. Eryn Gardner has nabbed the most rebounds with 5.3 per game, while Sheriene Arikat leads in assists at 1.9 per game. Abbey Hadsell is the team leader in blocks with 0.7 per game. Four players are maintaining assist-to-turnover ratios over one, with Genesis Hopkins holding a 2.67 ratio and a 2.40 ratio from Ixchel Rojo.

ALL-TIME SERIES: The all-time series between Sonoma State and Stan State dates back to January 19, 2001, and Sonoma State leads the series 25-18. The Seawolves have claimed the season series from the Warriors in the last two seasons. The most recent game, taking place in Rohnert Park, Calif., was a close game with Sonoma State taking it 46-44.

COUGARS IN REVIEW: Cal State San Marcos won their first game of the season versus Cal Poly Humboldt, making them 1-14 overall and 1-8 in CCAA play. Opponents are currently outscoring them 69.7 points per game to 57.5 points per game. Rory Hetrick is the team leader in points with 12.7 per game and in steals, averaging 2.2 per game. Destiny Okonkwo leads the team in rebounds, averaging 8.5 per game, and blocks with 1.3 per game. Rose Morse leads the way in assists with 1.9 per game.
