TURLOCK, Calif.---Stanislaus State women's soccer celebrated its senior class in perfect fashion Sunday morning, earning a 2–0 victory over San Francisco State in the home finale at Warrior Stadium. The Warriors honored 10 seniors in a pregame ceremony before delivering a composed, dominant performance that featured a goal in each half and the team's eighth shutout of the season. With the win, Stan State improved to 9–4–4 overall and 5–3–2 in CCAA play, strengthening its hold on fourth place in the conference standings and positioning itself to clinch a postseason berth.

First Half
The Warriors carried the emotion of Senior Day onto the pitch, controlling play from the opening whistle. In the 14th minute, Aliah Avila put Stan State ahead, finishing a cross from senior Kellyann Rodriguez to make it 1–0. The Warriors piled on 19 first-half shots while maintaining near-total control of possession, with San Francisco State goalkeeper Kylie Tone making nine saves to keep the match close heading into halftime.

Second Half
Stanislaus State continued to dictate the pace after the break and doubled its lead in the 56th minute. Jocelin Roa buried a composed finish after a clever build-up from Avila and Rodriguez to put the Warriors ahead 2–0. Goalkeepers
Malia Allen and Zara Mujica combined for the shutout, with Mujica making four second-half saves. Stan State out-shot the Gators 30–4 and placed 19 shots on goal in one of its most complete performances of the season.

CCAA Soccer Championship Tournament
The six-team CCAA Soccer Championship Tournament begins with first-round matches on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the site of the higher seeds. The semifinals and finals will be played at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, on the campus of Cal State Monterey Bay, Friday through Sunday, Nov. 14–16. The top two seeds receive first-round byes, and the tournament champion earns the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Championships. Stanislaus State women's soccer currently sits in fourth place in the CCAA standings (9–4–4, 5–3–2 CCAA, 17 points), trailing Chico State (21), Cal Poly Pomona (21), and Cal State San Bernardino (20). A postseason qualification would mark the Warriors' fourth straight and 12th overall appearance in the CCAA Tournament.
