Stan State Volleyball Sweeps Monterey Bay, Clinches CCAA Tournament Berth

TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stanislaus State volleyball wrapped up its 2025 home schedule in style Saturday night, sweeping Cal State Monterey Bay inside Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena. The victory capped Senior Night and secured Stan State's second consecutive and third CCAA Volleyball Tournament berth in the last four years.

Prior to first serve, Stan State honored its six seniors — Irene London, Kryslin James, Teagan Irish, Christallynn Tate, Shaelyn Pruiett, and Isabella Saucedo — for their leadership and contributions to the program. The group helped elevate Warrior Volleyball to historic success, including the program's first CCAA Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024.

Set 1
Stan State opened strong behind a balanced attack and efficient setting from Pruiett. The Warriors hit .308 in the opening frame, with Christallynn Tate tallying five kills and Malia Tanksley adding three. Late kills from Teagan Irish and a service ace by Reagan Wilkerson helped Stan State close the set.

Set 2
Volleyball took complete control in the second, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back. Tate continued to dominate offensively, adding six more kills, while the front line of Lauren Hamilton and Tanksley combined for four blocks. The Warriors hit .214 in the set and held the Otters to just eight kills.

Set 3
Stan State closed out the sweep with another efficient performance, hitting .317 and controlling the tempo from start to finish. Pruiett dished out nine assists in the frame, while Hamilton and Tanksley each contributed key kills late to seal the match.

Shaelyn Pruiett: 24 assists, 8 digs, 3 kills
Lauren Hamilton: 6 kills, .429 hitting percentage, 5 blocks
