TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State faced Biola University this afternoon in a double header. The Warriors lost both games, with Biola taking the first game 4-2 and claiming the second game 13-2.
GAME 1:Â The Eagles (6-6) got out to an early lead with a walk, sac bunt, and a single.

Stan State (3-7) took the lead in the bottom of the first with
Malia Babasa singling to start things off. Babasa moved to second on a ground out by
Katie Thornsberry. The bases were loaded after
Karli DalBianco walked and
McKenna Beach was hit by a pitch.
Madison Rosebrough singled to score Babasa and a throwing error brought DalBianco home.

Biola tied the game in the third with a single, a sacrifice bunt, and a single. The Eagles found their third run in the sixth with a series of singles. In the seventh, singles and groundouts earned them their fourth run to take the win 4-2.

BABASA: Malia Babasa went three-for-four and scored a run in the first game. This is Babasa's best game as a batter since she went one-for-two versus Central Washington with a walk, a hit, and a run scored. Overall, Babasa went five-for-eight on the day with a run batted in and a run scored.
GAME 2:Â Biola got off to an early lead with a five-run first inning with a quartet of singles to start the inning. They added a sixth run in the second due to an error. Two more runs were tallied in the fourth with a stolen base and a wild pitch aiding their advance.

The Warriors earned two in the fifth to keep the game alive with a single by
Bree Barner, who moved to second on a wild pitch.
Lauryn Serda earned a single to put two runners on with one out.
Moxie Barton reached on a fielder's choice, which allowed Serda to move up to third and Barner to score on a fielding error by the third baseman.

The Eagles earned five more runs in the seventh with hits in the right places. They put up five singles and a double to go up by 11 and take the game 13-2. Â
SERDA:Â Lauryn Serda hit well in game two, going two-for-three with a run scored and went three-for-six overall in today's games. Serda has had four two-hit games so far this season.

st, the Warriors arrive in San Marcos, Calif. for two doubleheaders with No.14 Cal State San Marcos. The first game on Friday will begin at 12:00 p.m. The next day, Saturday, February 22
