CHICO, Calif.--- Stan State visited Chico State this evening, falling 97-61. The Warriors were led by
Da'Myiah Lewis with 31 points.
FIRST QUARTER: Chico State (16-5, 11-4) made it clear early on that the Warriors were on their territory, draining two three-pointers to open scoring.
Amya Vangkham-Griffin scored a three of her own to get things going for Stan State. The Wildcats quickly took and kept control, finishing the quarter with a 30-13 lead.

SECOND QUARTER: Stan State (5-16, 4-11) attempted to keep up with Chico State's offense, but the Wildcats continued to stay one step ahead. Chico State found an opening for an eight-point run, halted by a three from
Jadyn Patterson. The Wildcats led at the half 50-23.
THIRD QUARTER: The Warriors and the Wildcats traded threes early in the second half though Stan State gained more opportunities to score with a steal and an offensive rebound. Chico State found their opening later, taking advantage to go ahead 77-39 at the end of the third quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER: Chico State began the fourth quarter with a layup and kept their foot on the gas.
Da'Myiah Lewis went on a six-point run to slow the Wildcats progress, making four free throws not long after to push back Chico State. The Warriors could not make up the deficit and Chico State finished the quarter and the game ahead 97-61.
RUNNING THE SHOW: Da'Myiah Lewis made her presence known with a career-high 31 points and her eighth double-double of the season. Lewis snagged 13 rebounds, recorded two assists, one steal, and two block assists.

Quinn Garrett provided five of them, adding four points, a steal, and two rebounds in tonight's game.

th, Stan State will host No. 3 Cal State Dominguez Hills at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday, February 15
th, Cal State Los Angeles will visit for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off.
