TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State is now 3-3 after a doubleheader versus Dominican University of California.
McKenna Beach went one-for-two with a walk and an RBI to drive in the Warriors' only run in game one's 2-1 loss.
Karli DalBianco was three-for four with two RBIs in game two, driving in half of the Warriors' runs as they fell 5-4.
GAME ONE:Â Stan State took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning after
Katie Thornsberry was hit by a pitch,
Karli DalBianco moved Thornsberry to second with a sacrifice bunt, and MaKenna Beach drove Thornsberry in with a one-out single.
Dominican (5-2) tied it up in the sixth and took the lead in the seventh by keeping the line moving with a series of bunts to win 2-1.
GAME TWO:Â The Warriors struck first in the second game with
Shelby Frutoz driving in
Allejandra Perea in the second inning.

Dominican retaliated in the third inning with three runs.

Stan State earned a second run in the bottom of the third by stringing together a single from
Katie Thornsberry, a double by
Karli DalBianco, and an RBI double from MaKenna Beach.

Dominican scored a fourth run in the fifth and a fifth run in the sixth.

The Warriors began to make a comeback in the seventh as
Marissa Cerda reached on a fielder's choice and
Malia Babasa bunted for a single.
Karli DalBianco hit a two-out, two-run double that scored
Malia Babasa and
Marissa Cerda, but the Warriors could not get the tying run and fell 5-4.
DALBIANCO:Â Karli DalBianco went three-for-four in the second game with two of those hits being doubles and batting in two runs. She is currently batting .444 with a .556 slugging percentage and .524 on-base percentage.
