TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State faced Cal State Dominguez Hills in their second doubleheader of the four-game series today, falling short 7-3 in the first game and dropping the second game 8-0 in five innings.

GAME 1: Cal State Dominguez Hills (19-14, 7-9 CCAA) started the game with two runs, created with a series of singles, though the Warriors ended the inning with a double play on a good play by Karli DalBianco.

Stan State (9-17, 6-10 CCAA) was able to put Marissa Cerda on base in the bottom of the third due to an error by the Toros that proved costly. Malia Babasa singled to move the runner over to second, while Katie Thornsberry's ground out proved productive in moving the runners to second and third. Karli DalBianco singled to score both Cerda and Babasa. McKenna Beach followed DalBianco with a double to drive her home as well, giving the Warriors the lead 3-2.

In the top of the fourth, Cal State Dominguez Hills two runs to take the lead off a pair of doubles and a walk. The Toros added one more in the top of the fifth with a single, sac bunt, and a double. They extended their lead in the top of the sixth to 7-3 off an error, stolen base, a double, and a single.

BABASA: Malia Babasa went four-for-four with four singles and a run scored, making it her first multi-hit game with four hits for 10 total multi-hit games. Babasa also stole a base, her third this season.

DALBIANCO: Though Karli DalBianco went one-for-four, her one single drove in two runs and put her on base for McKenna Beach to drive her home. DalBianco leads the team in runs batted in with 13.
