SURPRISE, Ariz. – Stan State women's tennis dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 39 Menlo on Thursday afternoon in PacWest Championships consolation play at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club.
The Warriors opened the match with momentum in doubles, as Emma Yu and Abbigail Mulick delivered a dominant 6-0 win at No. 1. Menlo responded by taking the remaining two doubles courts to secure the point and an early advantage.
In singles, Yu continued her strong play at the top of the lineup, earning Stan State's lone point with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 1. Her performance capped another consistent showing against top competition throughout the season.
