Scott Behrs had a great night Saturday in the Warriors' non-conference game at Notre Dame de Namur.
Unfortunately for the Cal State Stanislaus men's basketball team, no one else really did as the Warriors lost to the NDNU Argonauts, 75-65, in Belmont.
Behrs recorded his first double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds in leading the Warriors, but CSUS dropped to 2-6. Notre Dame de Namur, led by Dan Bergeron with 22 points, improved to 3-4.
Behrs had 8 points and 7 rebounds in the first half and finished the night 5 of 12 from the field with three treys. He also converted on 3 of 4 free throws. Health Colvin also turned in 16 points to pace the Warriors.
Duane Jones and
Calvin Westbrook combined to shoot 6 for 21.
Westbrook did extend his consecutive free throws made streak to 22 as he was 1-for-1 on Saturday.
As a team, the Warriors shot 37.3 percent for the game and was just 9 for 25 from beyond the arch.
Three other NDNU players scored in double figures with Ryan Cooper and Aaron Parker each adding 15. Chris Clock chipped in 12.
