TURLOCK — Cal State Stanislaus was able to salvage a tie on Sunday afternoon in the final game of their homestand, shutting out the Otters for a 0-0 tie.
The tie gives the Warriors a 3-0-2 record against Cal State Monterey Bay in their last five games dating back to 2005. The Warriors out-shot the Otters 21-15 and held an 8-5 edge in shots on goal. Midfielder

Cal State Monterey Bay played a man down from the 67th minute on when midfielder Kyle Millerick was issued his second yellow card of the game, resulting in his ejection. With 14 seconds left in regulation, the Warriors had an opportunity to score. Cal State Monterey Bay was called for a foul about 15 yards from the top of the goalie box. The free kick was sent into the box by the Warriors but was cleared by the Otter defenders.
A total of 63 fouls were called and nine yellow cards were issued during what was a physical game. The Warriors were called for 25 fouls in the game, seven more than their season average of just over 18 a game.
The Warriors will head out Friday on their longest road trip of the season. Friday's match will start at 1:30 p.m. against Sonoma State in Rohnert Park. The Warriors will then travel up north to face Humboldt State on Sunday for a 2 p.m. match.
