To get the win, the Warriors had to play in the Kelp Bed against a red-hot Monterey Bay team. But with a balanced attack and accurate bombs from beyond the arc, Cal State Stanislaus split the road trip and improved to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Cal State Monterey Bay, which beat CCAA-favor Chico State Friday night, ended its four-game winning streak and dropped to 5-2 and 1-1.
