POMONA --
Rick Cardoso hot streak continues as he led the Cal State Stanislaus men's basketball team to a 64-62 win over Cal Poly Pomona at Pomona Friday night.
Cardoso scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds -- his fourth straight 20-point game and second double-double in three games -- as the Warriors snapped a three-game skid.
The Warriors improved to 5-17 overall and 4-11 in California Collegiate Athletic Association play.
Duane Jones had 10 points, seven assists and four steals while
Terry Johnson and
Calvin Westbrook each paced the Warriors with seven points apiece.
Stanislaus made seven three pointers on 15 attempts and out-rebounded Pomona, 39-31.
The Broncos (9-11, 8-7) were led by Larry Gordon who had 19 points and nine rebounds.
The Warriors will face Cal State San Bernardino Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
