Rick Cardoso had another double-double, his third in four games, but the Warriors dropped a 89-68 decision to CCAA-leader Cal State San Bernardino Saturday night at Coussoulis Arena.
Cardoso netted 12 points with 11 rebounds but the Warriors fell to 5-18 overall and 4-12 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association a night after upsetting Cal Poly Pomona, 64-62.
Percentage-wise, the Warriors out-shot the Coyotes, but CSUSB took 18 more shots than CSUS. Cal State San Bernardino also converted on 12 three-pointers on 33 attempts. The Coyotes were led by Lance Ortiz who had 17 points with three triples. Marlon Pierce had 15 points.
Stanislaus actually out-scored the Coyotes in the second half, 47-43, but trailed 46-21 at the break after shooting 32 percent from the field. The Warriors were 16 for 25 for 64 percent in the second half.

The Warriors will return home to host Humboldt State Friday night to begin the final two weekends of the regular season.
