Jen Gee and 11 kills and five service aces and
Lianne Vicchio added 10 kills, but the Warriors dropped their season opener to Seattle Pacific in four, 25-27, 25-22, 25-19, 25-23 at the Seawolf Spike Tournament at Sonoma State.
Gee's five aces tied a tournament record and freshman Vicchio made her collegiate debut with a solid performance. Vicchio also had eight digs to go with Gee's eight digs.
Amanda Pielstick had 17 digs as the Libero and setter
Nicki Brown recorded 33 assists.
The Warriors won the first set 27-25 with strong serving, but Seattle Pacific put together its blocking game in sets two and three to hold off the Stanislaus offense.

Megan Loghry and freshman
Victoria Costa each added eight kills with Brown putting away seven.
Cal State Stanislaus served strong to content with five aces coming from Gee, which tied a tournament record. Loghry added four aces to the team's 14.
Seattle Pacific was led by Sarah Risser with 21 kills, 15 digs and two blocks. As a team, the Falcons had 17 total blocks. Setter Joelle Perez had 41 assists.
CSUS plays again at 2 p.m. this afternoon against Northwest Nazarene.
