CARSON -- Michael Dyson has been on fire lately. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they still haven't been able to get the "W" as the Cal State Stanislaus men's basketball team dropped its fifth straight game Friday night.

Dyson had 20 points and Benny Koochoie added 18, but the Warriors lost to Cal State Dominguez Hills 86-63 at the Torodome.

Cal State Stanislaus is now 6-16 overall and 2-15 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Cal State Dominguez Hills stays on top of the CCAA standings with 19-5, 13-4 CCAA records.

For Dyson, a senior transfer, it was another double-digit scoring night -- his 14th of the season. He has now led the team in scoring in five of the last six games. Over the course of the last six games, he has scored 100 points.

Friday night, Dyson was solid as he was 8-for-11 from the field and connected on three of his four three-point attempts. He also had four rebounds and two assists. He scored 18 of his points in the second half.

CSUS again could not recover from a poor first half while the Toros were hot in the opening half as CSUDH quickly built a 50-25 halftime lead.

Dominguez Hills had five players in double-figures in scoring with Rodney Yearby leading with 16 points. He also had six rebounds.

The Warriors will look to snap the skid Saturday night at Cal State L.A., a team Stanislaus beat on Jan. 16, 73-71.
