WALNUT CREEK — Tanner Olinger, Obi Agwu and Jose Godinez highlighted a group of six Cal State San Bernardino players that were honored as all-conference, it was announced by the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) on Wednesday. All three players were named to the first team.

For Cal State Stanislaus, two Warriors made the second team with sophomore midfielder Jio Santana and junior defender TJ Grewal earning the honors. Senior forward Victor Regalado is an honorable mention selection.

Other top honorees were Chico State forward Ferid Celosmanovic (Most Valuable Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Year), Jared Kukura of UC San Diego (Most Valuable Defensive Player), Sonoma State forward Taylor Varnadore (Freshman of the Year) and Noah Kooiman of Cal State San Bernardino (Coach of the Year).

Kooiman was named Coach of the Year for the first time in his career after guiding the Coyotes to a 13-4-1 overall record, including an 11-4-1 conference mark and the South Division title. Cal State San Bernardino is currently ranked No. 6 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Cal State San Bernardino and Cal State Dominguez Hills, which had five players honored, led all institutions with three first-team selections. Midfielders Alex Munoz and Diego Turoldo along with defender Ernesto Ramos were the three Toros named to the first team.
