CHICO — Jordan Stokes scored 13 points and pulled seven rebounds but the Chico State Wildcats connected on 10 three-pointers and got 21 points from Jon Baird to beat the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors, 72-64, Tuesday night.

Stokes was 6-for-13 from the field but the Warriors dropped to 9-12 overall and 5-11 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Baird made five of the team's 10 three-pointers to lead the way with 21 points on 7 of 13 shooting from the floor. He was 5 of 10 from behind the arch to lead the Wildcats to even their CCAA mark to 8-8 (12-9 overall).

Matt Ibewiro had 10 points, Myles Green added nine and Enrique Vazquez chipped in eight for Stanislaus.

Jay Flores had nine points and eight assists to pace Chico State.

Cal State Stanislaus will begin a four-game home stretch on Friday when the Warriors host UC San Diego on SAAC's Make-A-Wish night.
