SAN BERNARDINO -- Despite the short rest and an early-morning match, the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors had little trouble defeating host Cal State San Bernardino to complete their road trip undefeated.

The No. 17 Warriors handled the Coyotes and won every set on Monday to win 9-0 to improve to 2-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (2-4 overall). The same two teams will play again in just a few days in Turlock. The rematch is Saturday at 10 a.m.

After a long, grueling match against Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, the Warriors had to face the Coyotes at 9 a.m. today. The match was originally set for Saturday but was rescheduled due to rain. The start time then was moved up to allow CSUSB players to take mid-term exams.

None of the adversity mattered as the Warriors took cared of the match in 2 1/2 hours. It was also the program's first 9-0 win.

In doubles competition, all three doubles teams won by a score of 8-3.

Both of the No. 1 and No. 2 singles players -- Verena Preikschas and Vanesa Reibstein -- shutout their opponents 6-0, 6-0.

Katie Eng went undefeated for the trip in both singles and doubles play with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win over Isabella Fraczek at No. 3 after teaming up with Preikschas to win at No. 1 doubles over Brittany Choate and Kara Jenkins.

Arina Polovnikova (6-1, 6-1), Heather Cotter (6-1, 6-2) and Erin McGurty (6-2, 6-2) all won their singles matches.
