WALNUT CREEK – The seedings and game times for the 2012 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Basketball Tournament have been set following the conclusion of the regular season. The Warriors are traveling to Cal Poly Pomona for a Tuesday 7:30 p.m. first-round game.

The CCAA Championship Tournament will open on Tuesday, February 28, at the site of the top four seeds. The semifinals are scheduled for Friday, March 2, at RIMAC Arena on the campus of UC San Diego in La Jolla. The championship games will take place on Saturday, March 3.

All four semifinals and championship games from La Jolla will be televised live on Comcast Hometown Network and available to Comcast cable subscribers on Channel 104. The broadcast feed also will be streamed live through Stretch Internet at www.goccaa.org.

Live stats will be provided through statbroadcast at www.goccaa.org and available by logging on to any computer or mobile device.

Cal State Stanislaus lost to Cal Poly Pomona both times this season but the game at Pomona early in the season was an one-point decision. On Dec. 1., Reggie Jones scored 30 points and carried the Warriors from a 13-point deficit before dropping a heartbreaker. CPP made a free throw with six seconds to play for the 66-65 win.

The top-seed Chico State men (22-6, 16-6) will entertain No. 8 Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-12, 11-11) on Tuesday. Second-seeded Cal Poly Pomona (18-7, 15-7) will host No. 7 Cal State Stanislaus (16-10, 12-10), No. 3 Humboldt State (19-7, 15-7) welcomes No. 6 Cal State L.A. (17-9, 13-9), and No. 5 Cal State San Bernardino (14-11, 13-9) visits No. 4 Sonoma State (16-10, 14-8).

The men will open semifinal action on Friday with games scheduled at noon and 2:30 p.m. (The women's semifinals are slated for 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.)

The men's championship game will tipoff on Saturday at 5 p.m. and be followed by the women's title game at 7:30 p.m.

Cal State Dominguez Hills is the defending men's champion after posting a dramatic 51-50 victory over Humboldt State in last season's tournament final.

Tickets to the CCAA Basketball Tournament will be available the day of the game. First-round ticket prices are $8 for general admission, $5 for students (with ID) and seniors (60+) and $2 for children under 12. Semifinals and finals tickets are priced at $10 for general admission and $3 for students, seniors and children.
