TURLOCK — The 33rd ranked Warriors women's tennis team easily handled visiting Sonoma State as they took an 8-1 victory on Sunday.
Verena Preikschas did not allow a game point to her opponents on the day as she won her single match over Megan White, 6-0, 6-0. She also teamed with
Katie Eng for a No. 1 doubles win, 8-0, over Megan White and Krista Cole.
The Warriors also won the doubles at No. 2 with Devina Meza and
Kelsey Chrisco blanking their opponents, 8-0. Chrisco also shutout Stefanie Hoffmire, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles.
