Home Sweet Home
The Warriors are glad to be home after a 0-4 stretch over two weekends on the road. They came home to Fitzpatrick Arena where they won twice this season. Cal State Stanislaus is now 0-8 on the road this season.

They Were Consistent
Scoring leaders Lauren Godde and Devin Brown were consistent as they scored the same number of points each night. Godde scored 15 points in both games and Brown added 13 per game. The starters (two different starting lineups) also contributed nearly the same as one group scored 47 on Friday and the other 49 on Saturday.

More Scoring Showdown
In another match-up of two of the top scorers in the conference, Lauren Godde lost the head to head battle this time. Cal State L.A.'s Tessondra Williams carried her team with 29 points while Godde scored 15.  Williams is second in the CCAA with 19.2 points per game. Godde (fourth, 17.2 ppg) won the personal match-up against UCSD's Daisy Feder (CCAA leader with 20.1 ppg) the previous week.

Cozy New Digs
The women's team also returned home to a newly refurbished locker room. After being displaced for three-plus weeks, the Warriors moved back into their team room, which now features pro-style solid wood personal cabinets, new carpeting and a big screen television. The project, which also included the same new furnishings for the men's team, was made possible by private donations to the University.

Matley Chips In
Eliza Matley stepped-up Saturday night as she chipped in some of the scoring in Briana Cotton's absence (ankle). Matley scored eight points with two steals, both career-highs. She went 3-for-10 from the floor as she played in a career-high 23 minutes. Before Saturday night, she was averaging 10 minutes a game.

Shoot More Erin
Perhaps the rebounding machine Erin Godde should shoot a little more. Godde has made a 3-pointer in three straight games including three on Saturday. In the last three games, she's 5-for-11 from beyond the arch, and averaged 8.3 points per game.

Staack-ing Up the Glass
Katie Staack enjoyed one of her best weekends defensively in L.A. She set season-highs in rebounding in consecutive nights (with 6 and 7) and had three steals in Saturday's game, which was also her first start since Dec. 10.

Two-And-How Many?
Yes, it's a rebuilding year under first-year coach Wayman Strickland. The 2-13 start marks the worst record for a Warrior women's team since the 2004-05 season when that squad started 2-14. That team (which featured Shavaki Jackson and Gwendolyn Page, both in the top seven in career scoring at CSUS) picked up its third win on Jan. 29, 2005, against Cal State L.A. before going on to finish 6-21.
