Kelsey Chrisco rallied after dropping the first set to eventually beat her opponent to earn the Warriors' lone win on Tuesday before No. 46 Sonoma State defeated Cal State Stanislaus, 8-1.
After dropping the first set to Megan White, Chrisco rallied for a 6-2 set No. 2 win to force the third super-tiebreaker set. Chrisco out lasted White in the third, 10-6, to earn the victory. Chrisco, who improved her personal record to 4-8 in dual play, has beaten White twice this season. In fact both of Chrisco's wins in her last 10 matches were against White.
Meza ended a four-match winning streak on Tuesday in a two-set loss to Sara Celma. The No. 1 doubles team of Meza and
McKenzy Harden couldn't continued their success, coming off a big win over UCDavis players on Saturday, in an 8-5 loss to Seawolves Celma and Chloe Joliff.
