TURLOCK - There's Sabrina Williamson.

The speedy forward broke-out in a huge way on Sunday in a California Collegiate Athletic Association showdown of two titans as the junior from Sacramento ended the thriller with a game-winning goal in the second overtime. With :51 seconds left to play, Williamson out-ran her defender to pick up Jade Poon's rebound shot off the left post for the winner as 17th ranked Cal State Stanislaus came-from-behind to beat No. 14 Sonoma State, 4-3.

Williamson, who has been looking to punch in her first goal this season after an All-CCAA third team performance in 2013, scored twice on Sunday. Her first goal started the Stanislaus rally when the Warriors trailed 2-0 at the half.

Poon also scored for the first time in five matches - the first time during conference play - and she did it twice, including an awesome equalizer and a brilliant go-ahead score that had head coach Gabriel Bolton hopping with his arms up and fist-pumping.

"It was great to see Jade and Sabrina snap out of their slumps. Great players play great in big moments and they are both great players," Bolton said.

Sonoma State, ranked No. 14 in the latest poll, suffered its first loss of the season and fell to 10-1-0 and 3-1-0, the same record as Cal State Stanislaus. The Wariors remain undefeated at home in 2014 at 6-0 and extended their regular season home winning streak to 17 matches (since the end of the regular season in 2012 when Sonoma State won 2-1).

Two goals by McKenzie Maher gave the Seawolves a 2-0 lead going into the half before the Stanislaus offense kicked into another gear for the rally while the defense supported by turning the Seawolves away.

Williamson's first goal, a header, came in the 66th minute on a perfectly placed cross by Maryssa McDuffy to cut the deficit in half. Poon then scored goals within a five-minute window to give the Warriors the lead.

Poon's first goal, at 82:06, came on a pass from Mikayla Clifford off a defender as Poon knocked it in to tie the score. At 86:54, Poon gave her team the lead on an amazing goal. After getting a long pass from Karli Nestler, Poon turned a defender, gets by another Seawolf and dribbled towards the box. While sliding and falling as a defender approached, she strong-blasted past Allison Hadidian for the 3-2 lead.

With 22 seconds left to play, SSU would even the score and sent the match into overtime on a Sara Van Wagnoer goal on a give-and-go play with Lauren Curtain.

"We showed the heart of a champion today. Not only did we come back once but we also battled back from the disappointment of giving up a goal with 22 seconds left," Bolton said.

With time running out, Poon again got by her defenders and took a shot from about 20 yards out that hit the left post. The rebound went right to Williamson for the sudden victory goal.

The Warriors will play on the road for the next three matches - at UC San Diego and Cal Poly Pomona next week - before four straight at home to finish the regular season.
