Adam James has announced the 2026 Stan State women's soccer schedule as the Warriors look to earn their seventh consecutive California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championship Tournament appearance. The schedule features five non-conference matches, including the Humboldt Kickoff Classic, before a 13-match CCAA slate.
The Warriors finished the 2025 season with an 11-5-4 overall record, placed third in the CCAA standings and received votes in the final United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll. Stan State also advanced to the CCAA Championship semifinals for the third time in the past four seasons.

Aliah Avila, who earned United Soccer Coaches and D2CCA First Team All-West Region honors, All-CCAA First Team recognition, CCAA All-Tournament Team honors and United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America accolades in 2025. The Warriors also return CCAA Freshman of the Year and All-CCAA Second Team selection

Stan State opens the season at the Humboldt Kickoff Classic in Arcata, facing Pacific West Conference (PacWest) member Concordia Irvine on Thursday, Aug. 27 before taking on Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Central Washington on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The Warriors then travel to San Diego to face Point Loma on Thursday, Sept. 3 before opening the home portion of the schedule against Dominican on Sunday, Sept. 6 at Warrior Stadium. Stan State concludes non-conference play with a road match at Jessup on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Point Loma, Dominican and Jessup are all members of the PacWest Conference.
Conference play begins Friday, Sept. 18 when Cal State Monterey Bay visits Warrior Stadium, followed by Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday, Sept. 20. The Warriors posted victories over both opponents during the 2025 season, defeating Monterey Bay 2-0 on the road and Dominguez Hills 5-0 in Carson. The 13-match conference schedule also features the Warriors' first CCAA meetings with new conference members Menlo and Fresno Pacific, while UC Merced enters its second season in the league.
Stan State then heads to Southern California for matches at Cal State Los Angeles on Friday, Sept. 25 and Cal State San Marcos on Sunday, Sept. 27. The Warriors defeated Cal State Los Angeles 1-0 during the 2025 regular season before earning a 2-1 victory over Cal State San Marcos at Warrior Stadium.
October begins with a home match against Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, Oct. 2 before the Warriors travel to Cal State East Bay on Sunday, Oct. 4 and San Francisco State on Friday, Oct. 9. Stan State played Cal State San Bernardino to a 2-2 draw in 2025 and defeated Cal State East Bay 3-2 in the opening round of the CCAA Championship after splitting the season series with the Pioneers.
Following the Northern California road trip, the Warriors return home to host UC Merced on Sunday, Oct. 11 before welcoming perennial conference contender Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday, Oct. 15. Stan State then travels to Atherton to face Menlo on Saturday, Oct. 17 in the programs' first meeting as CCAA opponents. The Warriors swept both meetings with UC Merced during the Bobcats' inaugural CCAA season and battled eventual national finalist Cal Poly Pomona to a 1-1 draw on the road.
The regular season concludes with a road match at Chico State on Thursday, Oct. 22 before the Warriors return home to host Cal Poly Humboldt on Saturday, Oct. 24 for Senior Day. Stan State wraps up the regular season Thursday, Oct. 29 with its first meeting against Fresno Pacific as CCAA opponents in Fresno. Chico State handed the Warriors a pair of 2-1 losses in 2025, including a double-overtime defeat in the CCAA Championship semifinals, while Cal Poly Humboldt earned a 1-0 victory in Arcata.
The CCAA Championship begins Sunday, Nov. 1 with first-round matches at campus sites. The semifinals and championship are scheduled for Nov. 5 and Nov. 7 at Kellogg Stadium in Pomona.
The NCAA Division II Championship begins Nov. 12 with first-round matches at campus sites, followed by second-round contests on Nov. 14. Regional competition continues Nov. 19 and Nov. 21, while the national semifinals and championship are scheduled for Dec. 3 and Dec. 5 at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
