TURLOCK – On a day when heavy rain and stormy weather was in the forecast, the Warriors and the Holy Names Hawks took their chances and got the match in. In the end, the Warriors came out like sunshine with a 7-2 win.
After the top two groups of doubles players easily winning their matches, Stanislaus won five of six singles matches en route to the Warriors' second win in three days during a busy weekend.
The Warriors are playing four matches in four consecutive days. They beat Hawaii Hilo on Thursday before dropping to Division I UC Davis on Friday before today's victory over Holy Names.
The Warriors will host UC San Diego on Sunday to wrap-up the busy week.
On Saturday, under mostly cloudy but dry conditions,
McKenzy Harden,
Jessica Laurie,
Analyssa Tallas and
J'Ana Diamond were all two-time winners against the Hawks.
In her doubles and singles matches, Tallas only yielded one single game point and Harden allowed just two.
