Three of Four at Home
Cal State Stanislaus has won three of its last four games played here at home with the only loss a late-game defeat to second place Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday. The Warriors finished the last four-game homestand with wins over Sonoma State and San Francisco State and is coming off an solid 67-60 win over Cal State L.A. last Saturday.

Loving Valentine
Alysa Valentine was red hot last Saturday when given the opportunity to shoot, non-stop. The junior point guard scored 23 points with five three-pointers, both career-highs. She was 8 of 21 from the field and made 5 of 14 from the arch for her first 20-point game. She also scored 10 points with seven rebounds in Friday's contests against Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Hello Erika Larsen
With injuries causing the team roster to be shortened, redshirt sophomore center Erika Larsen got the opportunity to make two starts last weekend and she stepped up big — bigger than her 6-foot-3 frame. Larsen warmed up from her six-point, 11-rebound game on Friday to explode for her first career double-double on Saturday. Against L.A., Larsen scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to dominate the paint. She was 7 of 13 shooting, many of them on offensive rebound put-backs.

Other Warriors Contributing
Showing some depth, despite missing two starters, the Warriors got some good performances from Aleseana Whitney (12 points, 5 rebounds on Friday) and Riley Holladay (16 points, 8 rebounds on Saturday).

Healthy Once Again
Briana Cotton and Camille Roberts have both been cleared to play this week giving head coach Wayman Strickland nearly a full-strength team available. Cotton missed both games last week due to an ankle sprain and Roberts returns after missing four games.

A Balanced Scoring Team
So far this season, nine different players have scored in double figures with Erika Larsen picking up her first and Aleseana Whitney recording her second last week. Jasmine Washington leads the team with 10 games with 10 or more points. Additionally, five different Warriors have scored 20 or more points in a game. Cassidy Sanders-Curry is the only player to score 30 (at Chico State on Dec. 20).

Cotton Keeps Lighting It Up
Earlier this season, Briana Cotton became the eighth Warrior (during CCAA era) to score 800 or more points in a career. She now has 877 career points … After missing two games, she would now have to average 15.4 points a game to reach 1,000 career points.
