Series Notes: The Warriors are looking for their first win against Cal State L.A. in 13 matches after losing the last 12 meetings. L.A. posts a 31-3 all-time record over Stanislaus … Stan State has faired better against Cal State Dominguez Hills having won three times in the last four seasons (3-5) with the most recent on Oct. 11 in Turlock. CSUDH has a slight edge overall, 18-17 … Cal State East Bay was one of the two victims last season for the Warriors and Stanislaus has won four times in the six meetings. The Warriors have a 11-7 record over East Bay since the Pioneers joined the conference.
Best Start at 7-0: Stanislaus State has recorded a program best start of 7-0 during the CCAA era after Tuesday's impressive CCAA opener win over San Francisco State. The 1999 team had started 6-0 before losing 9 straight. The last time a Warrior team started 2-0 in CCAA play was in 2002 and no team has ever started 3-0 in conference play during the CCAA era.
Dominating Performance: The Warriors are not just winning. They have been dominating as it was the case in point in Tuesday's win over SF State. They put-away the Gators 25-19, 25-12, 25-13 in about an hour of play to record another 3-0 victory. It was the Warriors' fourth 3-0 win this season and three of the last four matches.
Road Warriors: So far this season, six of the seven wins have been on the road. The last time a Stanislaus team won six road matches was 2010, a feat that took the entire season to accomplish. No Warrior team has won seven away contests during the CCAA era.
Attacking with High Percentages: Stan State has been really effective in its attacks this season. They have hit better than .200 in all seven matches and was beyond .250 four times. With a seasonal average of .263, the Warriors are on pace to shatter the team record of .203 set in 2002.
Taylor Massengale leads the team with a .420 hitting percentage, which is second best in the CCAA (.473, Brenna McIntosh, CSUSB).

Hailey Gruetzmacher is third in the conference with 0.48 service aces per set. She's also seventh with 4.43 digs per set.
Maddi Seidl is third with a 10.46 assists per set average. The last time a Warrior averaged double figures in assists in a season was Tara Hillis in 2002 (11.15).
About the Opponents: Cal State L.A. is off to an 8-1 start (1-0 CCAA). The Golden Eagles just missed out on the AVCA Top 25 as the first team listed under "Others receiving votes" with 49 points. L.A. defeated Cal State Monterey Bay on Tuesday in Seaside. Iona Lofrano is second in the conference with 4.07 kills per set and fourth with 122 kills total … Cal State Dominguez Hills (2-7, 0-1 CCAA) has lost three straight, including Wednesday's 3-0 setback at Cal Poly Pomona. The Toros are led by Rylee Kiger, who has 90 kills at 2.81 kills per set … Cal State East Bay (2-7, 0-1 CCAA) is coming off a lost at Chico State on Tuesday, Sept. 15, when the Pioneers had a total of 18 kills as a team. Michaela Gardner leads with 78 kills and 2.60 kills per set. Angie Malna is third in the league with 173 digs (4.94 per set).
