Last season, the Warriors challenged the Toros once in Carson, winning in four sets.

Concluding Regular Season: This weekend marks the final weekend of regular season play for Warrior volleyball. Over the past two months, Stan State has played 10 conference matches at home, and six on the road. In league play, the Warriors are 6-4 in Fitzpatrick Arena, and 2-4 while traveling. The Warriors will be spending their final conference weekend on the road, hoping to improve their traveling record.

Postseason: After conference play is concluded, eight CCAA teams, the top four in each division, will earn a bid into the annual conference tournament, held at Cal State San Bernardino this year. The Warriors are currently tied with Cal State East Bay for third in the North Division, and they are followed by Humboldt State, which is a mere two matches behind. The Warriors have already clinch a tournament berth based on tiebreaker rules.

More Tournament Scenarios: The Warriors could end up in a scenario where they are tied with either Cal State East Bay or Humboldt State (or both) at the end of the regular season. To break ties, after head-to-head matches (all three teams are 1-1 against each other in 2016), the highest ratio of sets won compared to sets lost for CCAA matches are used to determine order of finish and tournament seeding. Heading into the weekend:

Team (CCAA Record) CCAA Sets Won CCAA Sets Lost Matches Remaining
3. Cal State East Bay (9-8) 30 32 1 (@ HSU)
4. Stanislaus State (8-8) 31 24 2 (@ LA, @ DH)
5. Humboldt State (6-10) 27 36 2 (vs. EB, vs. MB)
