This week the Warriors are on the road for the first time this month. Stanislaus State has to make the infamous journey down to Cal Poly Pomona for a Thursday night competition, then with a one day intermission, proceed up to Humboldt State for their face-off on Saturday.

Series Notes: Stanislaus State has a losing record against Cal Poly Pomona, going 6-31 against the Broncos since 1999. However, the Warriors earned two of those wins last season.
Last Time We Met... was on Feb. 20, 2016 at Fitzpatrick Arena. The Warriors took home a 76-65 win over the Broncos going 2-0 for the weekend.

Road Trip
The Warriors' upcoming road trip will have them traveling almost 1,400 miles in just five days. Stan State will drive 330 miles to Cal Poly Pomona, they will travel another 680 miles to reach Humboldt State on Friday, and after all games have been played, the Warriors will have another 370 miles standing in between themselves and their home ... In the past four years, Stan State has made this trip three times. Last season the Warriors were able to earn wins against both teams, however, during both the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons, the Warriors returned with two losses.
Another Week, Another Achievement

Cassidy Sanders-Curry led her team to a 2-0 weekend ... Against Cal State Dominguez Hills, Sanders-Curry was second on her team in points and rebounds, with 11 total points and eight rebounds. Sanders-Curry also tallied five steals against the Toros, which was almost one-third of the Warriors' 16 total steals. Friday was the first time in her collegiate career that Sanders-Curry stole so many ... She gave back to back star performances, advancing to lead her team in both scoring and rebounding on Saturday night. She went 8-for-18 from the field, totaling 21 points. Sanders-Curry tallied 15 rebounds against the Golden Eagles, increasing her career high rebounding record for the second week in a row.

Reana Hardin. Against the Toros on Friday, Hardin led Stan State in scoring with 13 points ... On Saturday, Hardin followed Sanders-Curry with 16 points, going 7-for-15 from the field.

Erika Larsen had an aggressive weekend at the hoop catching nine rebounds against the Toros on Friday, setting herself a new season high. Larsen kept up the aggression on Saturday, matching her high with nine more rebounds against Cal State L.A. ... Also against the Golden Eagles, Larsen blocked four of Cal State L.A.'s shot attempts. Her dexterity has put her at second in the conference with an average of 1.5 blocks per game.

Currently the Warriors hold a spot at the top of the conference in rebounding efforts as a team. Stan State is third in the CCAA in rebounds per game with an average of 40.7. As a team, the Warriors are in second place in the league for offensive rebounds per game with an average of 13. Defensively, Stan State averages 27.7 rebounds per game, putting them at third in the CCAA ... Individually, two Warriors hold rankings as top CCAA rebounders.
