Tonight, for the second consecutive year, the Warriors will host the first round of the CCAA Tournament. They will take on the Golden Eagles of Cal State L.A. If they win Stan State will continue on to the semifinal game held at Cal State San Marcos on Friday, and play the winner of Sonoma State versus UC San Diego.

Prior to Stan State joining the California Collegiate Athletic Association, the Warriors participated in the postseason three times as a Division II program in 1990, 1991, and 2003. The Warriors recorded their last postseason win in 1990 over UC Davis at the NCAA West Regional Tournament … As a Division III program, Stanislaus was 6-5 in the NCAA tournament, including finishing as the National Runner-Up in 1989, the final season as a DIII program.

She led the team's offense against both Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal State East Bay with 19 points against the Otters and 22 points against the Pioneers. Reana Hardin with 22 double digit games), and has led her team in scoring 15 times ... On Saturday, Sanders-Curry totaled 10 rebounds, to earn her eighth double-double of the season, the highest on her team.
