Holy Names 
Series Notes: Last season the Warriors competed against the Hawks both at home and at Holy Names. Stan State was victorious in both matches, winning 5-4 at home, and 6-3 at Holy Names … Holy Names won twwce in 2014-15.
 
Fresno City College
Series Notes: Stan State hosted Fresno City College for the first time last year, and won 9-0.
 
Last Week: Last Sunday the women's tennis team opened the spring 2017 season at UC Davis and was defeated by the Division I squad 4-0.
 
This Week: The Warriors will host the Hawks on Saturday and the Rams on Sunday with the first matches kicking off at noon both days. Stan State will have returners Jaella Conway, J'Ana Diamond, Cassidy Ferrell, and Ebone Qualls on their roster, and transfers Kristi Van Driver and Sooni Seul will make their home debut as Warriors.
 
Top Players: Jaella Conway and Cassidy Ferrell are the Warriors' top doubles team. The duo posted a 13-10 record together last season (9-6 in dual matches) … At No. 1 singles to start the year is J'Ana Diamond, who went 12-12 last season with a 7-9 mark during dual matches (3-3 at No. 1).
