This weekend the Stan State Tennis team will be on the road to take on Holy Names and Dominican University. The Warriors will play the Hawks at 11 a.m. on Saturday and the Penguins at noon on Sunday.

Series Notes: The Warriors are 7-3 against Holy Names, defeating them last season 5-2. Stan State has won four out of the last five meetings with the Hawks … Overall the Warriors are 7-5 against Dominican, losing to them last season 3-6. Stan State's last victory over the Penguins was at DU in 2015, where the Warriors took home the win 8-1.
 
Last Weekend: Last weekend the Warriors went 0-2 on the road. Playing two nationally ranked teams, Stan State was scoreless against No. 18 Sonoma State and No. 7 Academy of Art. The Warriors will face Art U again later this month (Feb. 24), and will have a chance for redemption against Sonoma State on March 18^th.
 
About Holy Names: So far Holy Names is 0-1 in the spring season. Last weekend the Hawks traveled to Sonoma State and lost 0-9 to the Seawolves.
 
About Dominican: Last month the Penguins opened their season with two matches on the road. Dominican lost to the University of San Francisco 0-7, and lost to Santa Clara University 1-6.
