TURLOCK - In their first of two consecutive days of play the Stanislaus State tennis team fell to No. 16 Sonoma State 1-8 on Sunday afternoon at the Stan State Tennis Courts.
The Warriors took on the No. 18 Seawolves earlier this spring on Feb. 3, losing 0-9. Stan State is now 2-8 for the season and SSU is 11-4.
The Warriors started the day taking three losses in doubles play, but not without a fight.

Taylor Galya only fell by two and the other Stan State duos scored three and four points against their opponents.
Ebone Qualls was the lone victor for the Warriors in singles play, taking down Jennifer Kingsley 6-4, 7-5.
Taylor Galya lost No. 5 singles 6-4, 6-4, and two other Warriors scored five or more overall points in their match.
Tomorrow Stan State will host Hawaii Hilo at 11 a.m. at the Stan State Tennis Courts.
