TURLOCK - Earning their third win of the weekend to go 3-0, the Stanislaus State tennis team defeated Dominican University 7-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Stan State Tennis Courts.

With another win on their record Stan State is now 5-9 overall. Five Warriors won their singles matches in No. 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 singles. Cassidy Ferrell won her match 6-2, 6-2, Miliaana Proft won 6-2, 6-2, Ebone Qualls was victorious 6-4, 6-2, and Taylor Galya earned a 6-2, 6-1 win. Megan Hagerty lost her first set 0-6 but rallied back to win the match 7-6, 7-6. 

In doubles play, Ferrell and Kayla Nguyen won the No. 1 matchup 8-1 and Hagerty and Galya defeated the Penguin pair 8-1 as well. 

On Tuesday the Warriors will host Dixie State at 2 p.m. at the Stan State tennis courts.
