AZUSA — Cassidy Ferrell's run at the ITA West Region Championships ended on Friday in the hands of Academy of Art's Monika Stanikova, the No. 3 seeded player in the tournament, 6-3, 6-1. 

Taylor Gayla posted a win the consolation bracket match against Concordia Irvine's Johanna Keeline, who withdraw from the competition. Gayla then battled before losing to Dominican's Alex Wartenburg, 8-6.

Megan Hagerty had a win in an extra match with an 8-3 decision over Nicole Bermudez of Dominican.
