THIS WEEK IN WARRIOR SPORTS
VOLLEYBALL' SENIOR DAY IS SET FOR THIS SATURDAY
Stan State's volleyball team will be home for their final two matches of the regular season. The Warriors will host Cal State Dominguez Hills this Friday, November 4 at 5pm. They will entertain No. 23 Cal State Los Angeles on Saturday, November 5 at 2pm. Prior to their match on Saturday afternoon, Stan State will recognize its seniors in Cassie Corbett,
Natasha Mich, Macky Morris and Penelope Zepeda.
Heading into the weekend, Stan State is 18-8 overall and 9-7 in the CCAA which places the Warriors in seventh place. They are just one game out of sixth place which is held by San Francisco State and two out of fourth place which is held by Cal State East Bay and Sonoma State. The Warriors went 0-2 last weekend in their final road trip of the regular season. Stan State lost in four to Cal State Monterey Bay and to San Francisco State. Faith Menary led Stan State with 12 kills and Bella Isaia added 21 digs against CSUMB. Menary had a team high 12 kills while Haley Burdo added 32 assists against SF State.
STAN STATE TO FACE CAL STATE LOS ANGELES IN CCAA CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS FRIDAY
After their exciting 2-1 come-from-behind win over Cal State East Bay on Thursday in their regular season home finale, Stan State will face Cal State Los Angeles this Friday, November 4 at 2pm in the CCAA Championship Semi-finals in Rohnert Park. The Warriors ended their regular season 10-3-4 overall and 7-2-2 in the CCAA and were co-champions with Sonoma State for the regular season. In their win over Cal State East Bay, Makeila Yancey and Jackzeny Mancilla scored goals for the Warriors and Alexia Estrada had six saves in goal.
MEN'S GOLF FINISHES FALL SEASON ON HIGH NOTE
Stan State men's golf team finished their fall season in the top three in the Warriors' two invitationals in Hawai'i last week. The Warriors tied for the team title with a 558 at the Southwest Airlines HPU Shootout October 25-26. Chris Ebster paced Stan State as he tied for the individual medalist with a two-round score of 135. Two days later, Nathan Jetton finished as the individual medalist at the Dennis Rose Invitational with a 135. The Warriors finished in a three-way tie for third place with Sonoma State and Chico State with a 571.
STAN STATE MEN'S SOCCER FINISHES REGULAR SEASON WITH 4-2 WIN OVER PIONEERS
Stan State men's soccer sent out its five seniors with a 4-2 victory on Senior Day on Thursday. Chase Koptieff scored two goals while Tyler Tipton and
Nick Namwali each scored the last two goals for the Warriors. Jorge Lara had two assists and Sammy Villanueva and Josh Santillan each added one. Alex Renderos had four saves in goal for the Warriors. Stan State finished the regular season 5-7-6 overall and 2-6-3 in the CCAA.
CROSS COUNTRY PREPARING FOR CCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Both Stan State men's and women's cross country teams are in their final week of preparation for the CCAA Championships. This year's championships are set for this Saturday, November 5 in Carmel, Calif., at the Palo Corona Cross Country Trail in Carmel, Calif. The Warrior men's team will have their 8K race start at 9am. The No. 7 Stan State women's cross country team will run in the 6K race that will begin at 10am. The women are looking to repeat as Champions and Kaela Dishion is looking to repeat as the individual champion.
MEN'S BASKETBALL TO BE IN FRESNO FOR AN EXHIBITION GAME THIS WEDNESDAY WITH FRESNO STATE
Stan State men's basketball team will travel to Fresno this Wednesday, November 2 for an exhibition game with Fresno State at 7pm. The Warriors' regular season home opener will be on Friday, November 11 at 7:30pm when they host Point Loma in the Stanislaus State Crossover Classic. The two other teams in the classic are Cal State East Bay and Fresno Pacific.
The Warrior women's basketball team will begin their 2022-23 regular season on the road at the Northwest Nazarene Classic in Nampa, Idaho. They will open the classic on Friday, November 11 at 5pm versus Northwest Nazarene. Stan State will face Central Washington the next day afternoon at 2:30pm. The Warriors will host the Warrior Classic November 18-19. Stan State will face Holy Names on November 18 at 7pm and Academy of Art on November 19 at 3pm.
MANCILLA, LARA AND JETTON ARE THIS WEEK'S STAN STATE WARRIOR STUDENT-ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
The trio of Stan State women's soccer player Jackzeny Mancilla, men's soccer player Jorge Lara and men's golfer Nate Jetton are this week's Stan State Warrior Student-Athletes of the Week.

Mancilla scored the game-winner with four minutes left in the Warriors' final regular season home match on Thursday. The goal gave the Warriors the 2-1 come-from-behind win over Cal State East Bay and helped them clinch the CCAA Regular Season Title with Sonoma State. This was Mancilla's four goal of the season and second game-winning goal.

Lara had two assists in Stan State's 4-2 win over Cal State East Bay in the Warriors' Senior Day on Thursday. The senior defender assisted on the Warriors' first goal with Sammy Villanueva that was scored by Chase Koptieff in the sixth minute. He came back assisted with Josh Santillan on what proved to be the game-winner in the 74
th minute by Tyler Tipton.

Jetton was the individual medalist at the Dennis Rose Invitational in Waikola, Hawai'i, this Friday-Saturday with a two-round score of 135. He paced the Warriors to a three-way tie for third place. Earlier last week, Jetton finished in a tie for sixth place with a 138. As a team, the Warriors finished in a tie for first place with Chico State.
