CHICO, Calif. – The Warriors get four CCAA awards to conclude the 2022 regular season. Gabby Rawson, Macky Morris, and Alex Byrd each earned a spot on the list of top performers for the year.

Gabby Rawson was named Libero of the Year after commanding the CCAA digs per set average (4.93) to go along with a conference leading 444 total digs for the season. This total put her at #4 on the Stanislaus State all-time list for digs in an individual season, putting her 41st in the country in that category. Rawson also cracked the All-CCAA First Team list this year. She had a career-high 32 digs in an upset win over San Bernardino and a double-double of 19 digs and a career-high 10 assists in just her second match of the season.

Macky Morris received her All-CCAA Second team nod this season for the second time after receiving the honor last year as well. Early on this season, she held top-10 rankings in kills per set and hitting percentage in the CCAA. She had career highs of 17 kills and 10 digs this season and pulled off a 16 kills 10 digs double-double in her match against Holy Names.

Alex Byrd received a CCAA Honorable Mention selection for her standout numbers on the defensive end. The Sophomore came alive this season, finishing 3rd in the conference in blocks per set (1.11). She's maintained a top-10 spot in that category for well over half of the 2022 season and was also 3rd in the conference in hitting percentage (.356). Byrd had season-highs of 10 kills, and 9 total blocks this season, including two matches with seven block assists. She finishes the regular season at 2nd on the all-time Stanislaus State total blocks list for a single season with 113.
