EL CAJON — The Stanislaus State women's tennis team won its second consecutive match by sweep on Friday, beating Grossmont College on the road with a perfect 7-0 score at the Grossmont College Tennis Courts.
 
The Warriors (4-5) won all three doubles matches and swept all six singles spots in straight sets, including three of them with perfect 6-0, 6-0, scores.
 
Kate Bolton and Maya Young were perfect again for Stan State. They teamed up at No. 3 doubles to beat Grace Ellis and Samantha Maddalone of Grossmont College, 8-0. Later, they each swept their respective singles matches with unblemished scores. Bolton beat GC's Alivia Childs at No. 3, and Young topped Natalie Barron at No. 6.
 
Tay Cazarin and Amber Huk were nearly perfect themselves. They won their No. 1 doubles match over Katherine Frayre Busani and Jiaying Zheng, 8-3. In singles, Cazarin had a perfect, 6-0, 6-0, sweep over Zoe Petit at No. 4. Huk was the winner at the top singles spot, beating Zheng in straight sets, 6-2 and 6-1.
 
Alyssa Tay was one game away from being perfect at No. 5 singles, beating Maddalone, 6-1, 6-0. She and her partner at No. 2 doubles, Annabelle Mulick, teamed up to beat Barron and Childs, 8-0. Mulick went on to defeat Frayre Busani at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-2.
 
The Warriors play at PacWest Conference foe Point Loma at 11 a.m. Saturday.
