Box Score SURPRISE, Ariz. – After a strong start to their playoff run in the 4-3 upset win vs. Fresno Pacific just a day ago, the Sea Lions of PLNU managed to ward off the underdog Warriors in a 4-0 victory. 
 
DOUBLES: The Sea Lions got off to a fast start in this morning's #1 and #2 doubles matches, winning 6-1 in each of their first two games to earn the victory. Amber Huk/Emma Yu and Zuzanna Dziewiecka/Annabelle Mulick each stole a set each from PLNU, while the #3 spot of Kate Bolton/Alyssa Tay was halted at 3-4.
 
SINGLES: Through an abbreviated stint of singles matches, the Warriors won 23 games in their 12 sets of action. While their wins couldn't quite string together from set-to-set, the outcome of the match was decided after PLNU's early victories through just over an hour's worth of competition to advance to the semifinals.
 
UP NEXT: With chances still remaining to win out of the consolation bracket, Stan State will face MSU Denver tomorrow at 9am in a fight for fifth place through eighth place.
