st at 1:00 p.m. They have matched up already once this season, with Stan State claiming the win 69-48 in Turlock, Calif. The tip-off for the rematch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The Warriors will return home on Thursday, January 2
nd to host Cal Poly Humboldt before facing Chico State the following Saturday.

LAST WEEK: The Warriors traveled to Seattle, Wash. to face Seattle Pacific University where they were defeated 81-65. Despite the loss,
Da'Myiah Lewis and
Daja Scott-Mitchell each recorded a double-double, with Lewis scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Scott-Mitchell putting up 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Tia Barefield scored a career-high 12 points and added 5 assists for another career-high.

WARRIORS IN REVIEW: Stan State's (2-7, 1-2 CCAA) top scorers are Talia Maxwell (17.6 points per game) and Da'Myiah Lewis (16.4 points per game). Lewis also leads in rebounds with 73, averaging 8.1 per game. The Warriors outperform their opponents in blocks, and a big part of that is due to Talia Maxwell, who leads in blocks at 21 at a 2.6 blocks per game average. Jadyn Patterson is the team leader in assists (32) and steals (19). Patterson also continues to hold a 1.23 assist to turnover ratio.

Stan State is fourth in turnovers forced per game (19.67), free throw percentage (72.1), and steals per game (9.6). In blocks per game, the Warriors rank third in the conference with four per game.

Talia Maxwell has captured the fifth spot in the conference in points with 141 and field goals with 51. Maxwell is third in the conference in free throws at 35 and second in free throw percentage with an 85.4%. She is also second in points per game, having scored 17.6 points per game. Maxwell ranks first in the conference in two categories: blocks (21) and blocks per game (2.63).
Da'Myiah Lewis is fifth in the conference in rebounds per game with 8.2. Lewis ranks fourth in points per game (16.4), free throws (30), and field goals (53). She is third in the conference In total rebounds with 73 and second in defensive rebounds per game, snagging 5.8 on average. Lewis is second in double-doubles with three so far this season.
Jadyn Patterson is fourth in assists (32), third in steals per game (2.38), and second in assists per game (four).
BIG NIGHT FOR BAREFIELD: Tia Barefield scored a career-high 12 points against Seattle Pacific University as one of the Warriors top three scorers that night. Barefield drained three three-pointers and added five assists, two rebounds, and a steal to her career night.

th nationally in Division II, with a season-high eight assists at Cal State Los Angeles. Patterson currently maintains a 1.23 assist to turnover ratio with her 32 assists.

DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Da'Myiah Lewis and
Daja Scott-Mitchell both recorded double-doubles in the game versus Seattle Pacific. Lewis's 19 points and 12 rebounds is her third double-double of the season and the fifth of her career. Scott-Mitchell recorded 13 points and paired them with 13 rebounds to earn her first double-double in her career as a Warrior.

OTTERS IN REVIEW: Cal State Monterey Bay has improved to 2-6 overall while 0-3 in CCAA play. They will face Simpson University for an out-of-conference game before the Warriors visit. Ella Doherty leads the Otters in scoring, with 144 points and an 18 points per game average. Doherty also leads the team in rebounds (53), assists (14), and blocks (6), but also averages 3.5 turnovers a game. A'ajah Slocum also gets balls to her teammates, her 14 assists tying with Doherty with the team lead. Sha'nece Garrett is the leader in steals with nine, averaging 1.3 per game.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Stan State leads the all-time series with Cal State Monterey Bay 23-18. The two schools last matched up on November 30th this season, where the Warriors claimed the game 69-48.
FIRST MATCH-UP VS. THE OTTERS: The game in November 30th featured a strong bench presence for the Warriors. Talia Maxwell led in scoring for the team with 25 points, followed by Da'Myiah Lewis with 14 and Daja Scott-Mitchell chipping in 10. Stan State's bench outscored Cal State Monterey Bay's 26-15 with Scott-Mitchell and Alyssa Premo combining for 19 of the 26 points. Talia Maxwell's four steals led the team, with the Warriors scoring 21 points off of the Otters' 22 turnovers. Daja Scott-Mitchell was just shy of a double-double with a team-leading nine rebounds.
